    Where Does the Day Go?

Writing time is really important when we write for cash and rely on that income to keep the household running. However well writers try to organize their time there are always periods when that time just seems to drip away. If you write for cash and this strikes a chord then you must sometimes look at the clock as it reaches midnight and wonder where the day has gone? I have this feeling a lot recently as more and more family situations are impingeing on my freelance life. If you are a working writer then your writing time should be sacrosanct but it is not always easy to convince people that just because you are at home means that you are available. I know that I still have to teach my family to have a bit more respect for my writing time so that I am not sitting here at midnight again asking the question where does the day go?

    First Blog

I'm taking five minutes out from setting up this site  on write for cash to give you something to read. It is true that if you want to be a stay at home mother and work in your pyjamas you can - as I am while I'm writing this. Writing for a living, or at least a good part of that living can be both rewarding and frustrating. At the moment I New idea. am having one of those days when I am not sure whether I have chosen the right path, especially as I am having more trouble setting up this site than I think I should.
